About the event

This opening session establishes orientation as the foundation for nervous system regulation.

In winter, the nervous system benefits first from knowing where it is. Orientation helps the body recognize present-time safety by registering environment, support, and contact. Without this step, regulation practices can feel disorienting or overwhelming.

In this session, you’ll explore simple, body-first practices that emphasize grounding, spatial awareness, and settling into support. The focus is not on changing internal experience, but on helping the nervous system locate itself clearly in the here and now.

All practices are slow, optional, and adaptable. You’re welcome to participate fully, partially, or simply listen. This session is especially supportive if you’re feeling unsettled, disconnected, overstimulated, or unsure how to begin nervous system work without pushing.

You’ll leave with a felt sense of ground and orientation, creating a steady base for the winter series.

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
