About the event

This winter session introduces breath as a return pathway, not a technique to manage or change the nervous system.


After orientation and grounding in Week 1, the body is ready to notice breath as it naturally occurs. In winter, breath practices are most supportive when they follow safety rather than attempt to create it. This session emphasizes awareness over intervention, allowing regulation to emerge quietly through contact with the breath.


You’ll explore simple breath tracking, natural lengthening of the exhale when it arises on its own, and moments of pause that support parasympathetic settling. The goal is not calm or relaxation, but presence—staying with breath without directing it.


All practices are slow, optional, and adaptable. You’re welcome to participate fully, partially, or simply listen. This session is especially supportive if breath work has felt overwhelming, performative, or dysregulating in the past.
