About the event
This winter session builds on transition by introducing regulated expansion—the experience of allowing a little more space, movement, or energy without tipping into overwhelm.
For many nervous systems, expansion has been paired with urgency, performance, or pressure. As a result, “more” can feel destabilizing rather than supportive. Regulated expansion restores choice by teaching the body how to widen experience slowly, with clear support and built-in rest.
In this session, you’ll explore posture options, gentle breath-supported movement, and deliberate pauses that allow the nervous system to expand and settle repeatedly. The emphasis is not on effort or endurance, but on noticing how much is enough.
All practices are optional, adaptable, and paced for winter. You’re welcome to move, modify, rest, or observe. This session is especially supportive if you’ve noticed difficulty pacing yourself, a tendency to push past comfort, or uncertainty around how to grow capacity without stress.
