About the event
This winter session builds on rest and stillness by introducing gentle, body-first movement supported by the natural return of light.
As the days slowly grow longer, the nervous system often senses increased energy before the body is ready for action. This workshop offers a way to meet that shift without urgency. Through slow, accessible movements paired with breath, you’ll explore how circulation and presence can return while staying grounded in winter’s pace.
The focus is not on stretching or effort, but on movement that feels optional, supportive, and regulating. You’ll be guided through small motions designed to prevent shutdown, reduce stiffness, and maintain steadiness as energy subtly increases.
All practices are adaptable and can be done seated. Participation is always optional, and pauses are encouraged. This session is especially supportive if you’re noticing restlessness, heaviness, or a desire to move without wanting to “push” yourself out of winter.
