About the event

This winter session builds on containment by introducing transition—the subtle movement between stillness and motion that happens throughout daily life.

For many nervous systems, transitions are where regulation is lost. Standing up, shifting position, beginning or ending movement can trigger tension, disorientation, or collapse if the change happens too quickly or without support.

In this session, you’ll explore slow, deliberate transitions between stillness and gentle movement, supported by breath and choice. The emphasis is not on exercise or range of motion, but on how change is experienced in the body.

Practices are simple, optional, and paced to support steadiness. You’re welcome to move fully, move minimally, or rest and observe. This session is especially supportive if you notice feeling unsettled during transitions, difficulty stopping or starting movement, or a tendency to rush through change.
